darren shan - cirque du freak

has anyone read theses books they are really good. it is about a boy named darren who goes to a freak show and is turned into a vimpire tis really cool anyone?

lol, i already opened a thread about this ages ago, but no replys, i guess no one has read them yet.

i read them all they are the best ever books. it gets more and more interesting. the actual story events starts in book 6, the previous ones are a sort of introduction.

that sucks because in canada they only sell up to #4 ( im reading that one now) my friend down the street as the other ones but I dont know if he will give them to me he is odd like that I love vampire books

I had to read Cirque du Freak (book 1) for a children's lit class I am taking this summer. (graduate school for teaching reading) I liked the book, but I don't think I would reccomend reading them to my boys. I would not stop them...but....it freaked me out a little..thinking of them reading them. What age do you think thiese books are good for?
