Emily is mad at Ross for saying Rachel’s name and she disappears. Chandler and Monica agree that they are only allowed to have sex in London and Rachel can’t seem to forget that Ross said her name and she thinks it must mean something.

502: TOW all the Kissing…
Rachel wants to tell Ross that she is still in love with him. Chandler accidentally kisses Monica in front of Phoebe and Rachel and to cover it up, he kisses Phoebe and Rachel as well. Phoebe is depressed that she didn’t go to London and all she gets to do is do pregnant stuff. To cheer her up, the gang plan a weekend away to Atlantic City but the trip is cancelled when Phoebe’s water breaks.

503: The One Hundredth…
The gang rush Phoebe to the hospital. Rachel gets dates with male nurses for Monica and herself which upsets Chandler. Joey gets kidney stones. Phoebe has two girls and a boy – Frank Jr Jr, Leslie and Chandler.

504: TOW Phoebe Hates PBS…
Ross tries to find Emily by calling everyone of her relatives. Joey thinks he is hosting the PBS telethon but ends up taking pledges instead. Phoebe tries to find a selfless good deed. Rachel asks Monica when she’ll get to meet her new secret boyfriend who is the best sex she’s ever had. Chandler overhears and is very pleased with himself. Emily agrees to come see Ross but only if he doesn’t see Rachel anymore.

Chandler and Monica decide to go on a romantic weekend together and when they get there, all they do is fight. After a lot of interruptions Ross tells Rachel that he can’t see her anymore. Joey finds out about Chandler and Monica and promise not to tell anyone.

506: TOW the Yeti…
Emily wants Ross to get rid of all his old furniture and move into a new apartment. Rachel and Monica end up fogging a hairy guy with a bug bomb that has moved downstairs. Phoebe gets an heirloom from her mother but it’s a mink coat. She doesn’t know what to do with it until she tries it on and thinks it looks great on her. The whole gang including Rachel have dinner at Monica and Rachel’s notice Ugly Naked Guy’s back. Emily rings and she finds out that Rachel’s there with Ross and she tells him that she can’t trust him and their marriage is over.

507: TOW Ross Moves In…
Ross gets kicked out of his new apartment and Chandler and Joey tell him that he can stay with them for a while. Phoebe goes on a date with a health inspector who keeps shutting all the good restaurants down. Ross has all these annoying habits and Chandler and Joey want him to move out.

508: TOW the Thanksgivings Flashbacks…
The gang remember all the bad thanksgivings that they’ve had. When Joey got a turkey stuck on his head, Chandler’s toe got cut off, when Phoebe lost an arm (twice), when Chandler called Monica fat and so on. While Monica was trying to make up with Chandler, “I love you” accidentally slips out of Chandler’s mouth, then he reckons he didn’t say it.

Ross is distressed when a stranger at work eats his special thanksgiving leftovers sandwich. Meanwhile Joey is fed up of having to dream up elaborate excuses and lies to cover up Monica and Chandler’s relationship. Phoebe regrets asking Rachel along to a literature class.

Monica asks the cute neighbour Danny out on Rachel’s behalf, however after witnessing the unusually close relationship he seems to have with his sister, Rachel has second thoughts about his eligibility. When Joey loses his current acting job, Ross encourages him to write a show that he can star in. Phoebe joins the Salvation Army.

As 1999 approaches, the Friends make resolutions, some of which are in direct conflict with others. The best resolution however comes from Monica, who starts documenting their everyday lives with photos that everyone can enjoy.

After spending time with Chandler’s boss and wife, Monica discovers that Chandler has a work persona that includes a fake laugh for his boss’ bad jokes. Rachel is upset that Monica has not told her about their affair. Everyone is surprised to find out that Emily is getting re-married.

When Rachel gives Joey gives Joey a makeover to help him get a part he is auditioning for, she includes a shoulder bag that looks like a woman’s purse. Meanwhile, Phoebe is shocked when her father, Frank Snr. shows up at her grandmother’s memorial service and Monica tortures all of the gang with painful massages.

The gang see Ugly Naked Guy putting stuff in boxes and Ross thinks it would be great to live there. While Ross, Phoebe and Rachel are in UNG’s apartment, Phoebe spots Chandler and Monica doing it through the window. Phoebe decides to play a little game with Chandler and Monica but then C&M find out that she knows so they play along. Finally, Phoebe breaks Chandler and he reveals that he loves Monica. Ross gets UNG’s apartment and while over there, he spots Chandler and Monica doing it through the window.

Joey’s new girlfriend hits him when she’s happy and it hurts him. Ross refuses to donate $100 to the handyman that is retiring and now everyone in his building hates him. Chandler gets freaked out by everyone talking about marriage and babies. Chandler proposes to Monica after thinking that’s what she wants.

Joey has a dream about Monica and now thinks that he’s in love with her. Phoebe finds a police badge in the couch at Central Perk. She then meets the cop whi owns the badge and insted of arresting her, asks her out on a date. Ross buys a couch and has trouble taking up the stairs of his building.

Ben goes to an audition for a soup commercial. Joey then wants to be the father in the soup commercial. Rachel goes to her first day at Ralph Lauren but finds out that the girls make all the decisions while smoking outside. Monica and Phoebe plan a surprise birthday party for Rachel a month early.

The men go on a ride along in Gary’s car. While at Ross’s apartment getting a blender, Rachel hears a message on Ross’s answering machine. It’s Emily asking Ross if he’s still thinking about her. While on the ride along, a car back fires, mistaking it for a gun shot Joey dives on top of Ross.

Worried about the speed at which her relationship with her boyfriend Gary is developing, Phoebe asks Chandler to talk him out of asking her to move in with him. In attempt to fulfill a childhood dream, Rachel buys a sphinx cat, but when it turns out to be mean and vicious, her dream is shattered.

Joey is very excited about getting a lead part in a film that is being filmed just outside of Las Vegas. Having accompanied Joey to Vegas, Chandler is kicked out after confessing to Joey that he does not think that the movie is going to be his big break. Meanwhile, Phoebe is extremely mad at Ross, but can’t remember why.

Monica has lunch with Richard and tells Phoebe she didn’t feel anything. Monica and Chandler go to Vegas for their one year anniversary and Phoebe, Rachel and Ross go too. On the plane, Chandler finds out about Monica going to lunch with Richard and he gets mad. While alone in her apartment, Rachel decides to walk around naked, but Ross sees her from his apartment and he thinks she is trying to entice him. Chandler, Monica and Phoebe find out that Joey has been working in casino dressed in a gladiator costume as the movie shut down. Joey finds his identical hand twin.

Chandler tells Monica that he’s leaving to go home, but Monica stops him and tells him that she won’t see Richard again and they make up. They then start winning on the craps table. Chandler says if they roll a hard eight they’ll get married there tonight. Monica rolls a hard eight and they rush off to the chapel. Ross and Rachel get drunk and end up beating Chandler and Monica to the chapel.
